Akulaku Capital Indonesia gains approval for financial holding role
The company plans to take control of four financial services entities, with share transfers still subject to applicable procedures and rules.

PT Akulaku Capital Indonesia (ACI) said Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK) had approved it as a non-operating financial conglomerate holding company for Akulaku Group’s Indonesian financial services businesses. President director Mukti Wibowo announced the approval in a statement dated 29 October 2026.
Under the proposed structure, ACI would serve as the parent and controlling company of PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BNC), PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia (AFI), PT Pintar Inovasi Digital (PID) and PT Inovasi Kredit Indonesia (IKI). ACI said it would proceed with acquiring shares in those entities currently held by PT Akulaku Silvrr Indonesia (ASI). Each transaction would follow the applicable procedures and requirements.
ACI’s establishment forms part of a reorganisation of Akulaku Group’s financial services entities in Indonesia under OJK Regulation No. 30 of 2024 on Financial Conglomerates and Financial Conglomerate Holding Companies. The regulation assigns holding companies control and consolidation responsibilities over their conglomerate members.
As a non-operating holding company, ACI will oversee group-level coordination of governance, risk management and capital management rather than provide financial products or services directly to the public. Mukti said the company was committed to carrying out those duties while considering the interests of all entities in the conglomerate and complying with the rules.
