Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) chairman Anindya Novyan Bakrie said 77 global brands had bought Indonesian products or components, naming Airbus and Tesla among the buyers. Speaking in Jakarta on 29 October 2026, he urged businesses to expand production and sales.

At the opening of Kadin’s 2026 national leadership meeting, Anindya said the chamber planned to launch a book titled We Buy from Indonesia. It will feature buyer testimonials to demonstrate how Indonesian goods participate in international supply chains. He also named Kopiko, On and Nike among the brands buying components from Indonesia.

Anindya put Indonesia’s annual exports at about US$300 billion. He said businesses needed to do more than retain existing markets, calling for higher production volumes and sales alongside investment through capital markets and foreign direct investment.

He said economic diplomacy could widen access to overseas markets, citing 25 trade agreements already in force and another 15 under negotiation.

Kadin is also promoting partnerships connecting village businesses with industry and overseas buyers, Anindya said. These cover production, industrial supplier development, supply-chain purchasing, distribution and retail. He argued that stronger micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and quality jobs were necessary for broader participation in export and investment gains.
