Trade Expo Indonesia records US$22.94 billion in potential deals
The five-day exhibition exceeded its transaction target by 31.1 per cent, with agreements still requiring follow-up to become trade contracts.

Indonesia’s Trade Minister Budi Santoso said the 41st Trade Expo Indonesia generated US$22.94 billion in potential transactions, against a target of US$17.5 billion. He closed the exhibition on October 18 after it ran from October 14 to 18, 2026, at ICE BSD City.
The reported value covered 426 memoranda of understanding and included US$327.7 million from Pangan Nusa Expo, a culinary exhibition held alongside the trade fair. Potential deals involving micro, small and medium enterprises amounted to US$510.79 million.
India, the Netherlands, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates and Japan accounted for the highest potential transaction values. Food and beverages, jewellery, wood products, agricultural products and paper led the product categories.
Participation reached 1,873 exhibitors, compared with a target of 1,500 companies. Organisers reported 9,600 registered buyers representing 151 countries and more than 45,287 visitors, with visitor numbers up 31.08 per cent from the previous event.
Santoso said the ministry and Indonesia’s overseas trade representatives would track the agreements and pursue further discussions, with the aim of turning them into trade contracts. The ministry’s approach combines business matching before and during the exhibition with follow-up afterwards.
The Campuspreneur programme also brought 25 participants from 20 selected universities to exhibit products and meet international buyers. It recorded more than US$24.57 million in potential transactions.
