Princeton Digital secures RM5.1 billion financing for Johor campus
The funding will support expansion of the 200-megawatt JH1 data centre campus in Sedenak Tech Park, designed for AI and cloud workloads.

Princeton Digital Group has obtained US$1.3 billion (RM5.1 billion) in green financing for further development of its JH1 data centre campus in Johor. The company said the funds would support expansion at the 200-megawatt site in Sedenak Tech Park.
Affin Bank, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC, Standard Chartered and UOB underwrote the financing. It follows earlier funding for the campus in April 2024 and an increase in the financing facility in October 2025.
JH1 is designed to handle high-density artificial intelligence and cloud workloads. The financing follows Princeton Digital's Green Finance Framework, supporting development aligned with recognised green building standards. The campus has received Gold certification from the Green Building Index for design and from LEED for operations.
The deal also supports the company's plan, announced in March, to borrow up to US$5 billion to deliver contracted data centre capacity in Asia Pacific. Chairman, chief executive officer and co-founder Rangu Salgame said the financing demonstrated its banking partners' confidence in the group's ability to execute projects and its hyperscaler relationships.
Princeton Digital entered Johor in 2023. Its portfolio exceeds 1.8 gigawatts in eight Asia Pacific countries, with backing from institutional investors including Warburg Pincus, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Mubadala and Stonepeak.
