MyEG collection services remain suspended over unpaid RM314 million
Malaysia’s Transport Ministry will consider an application to restart operations only after full repayment, Anthony Loke said previously.

MyEG Services Bhd has yet to pay RM314 million owed to Malaysia’s government, Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook said on October 22, 2026. Its suspension as a collection agent for the Road Transport Department (JPJ) remains in effect.
Loke said people had retained access to JPJ services through other channels despite the suspension. Motorists could retrieve information and make transactions using MyJPJ, he told reporters following the launch of a station beautification project at Masjid Jamek LRT in Kuala Lumpur.
The suspension began on October 5 and applies to MyEG Group companies MyEG Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Bhd. The companies had collected the government revenue from May 19 to September 30 but had not deposited it into the ministry’s main collection account.
Authorities acted after engagement sessions dating from May and 35 reminders failed to secure payment. Loke had earlier made full repayment a condition for the ministry to consider any application to restart operations.
Affected transactions include driving licences, traffic summonses and road tax. JPJ said motorists could also use its counters, kiosks and Public Portal. The department and ministry have said they would pursue appropriate legal steps to recover the unpaid revenue.
