Telkom subsidiary PT. Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL), known as Mitratel, reported profit of Rp1.55 trillion for the period through the third quarter of 2026, up 0.7% from Rp1.54 trillion a year earlier.
According to its disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange, revenue supported the profit increase, rising 1.81% to Rp7 trillion from Rp6.8 trillion in 2025. Cost of revenue increased 4.4% to Rp3.5 trillion.
Depreciation expenses climbed 3.85% to Rp1.42 trillion, while amortisation rose 2.77% to Rp1.33 trillion. Construction and project management expenses increased 12% to Rp386.7 billion. Spending on tower planning, operations and maintenance rose 6.14%, while other expenses fell 6.80% to Rp13.9 billion.
As of September 2026, Mitratel operated 40,704 telecommunications towers, with 24,333 colocations and 65,037 tenants. Its tenancy ratio reached 1.60 times, compared with 1.55 times in September 2025. The company linked the improvement to additional colocations, particularly outside Java.
Billable fibre length reached 76,761 km, an increase of 13.3% year on year. Mitratel said its fibre network complemented its tower operations and expanded opportunities to meet network capacity requirements.
President director Theodorus Ardi Hartoko said on 30 October 2026 that Mitratel's strategy focused on improving asset productivity, strengthening competitiveness and pursuing longer-term growth opportunities as Indonesia's digital connectivity needs increase.
The company said it uses marketing analytics to identify colocation opportunities and assess network requirements. It also uses artificial intelligence and Internet of Things technology for infrastructure monitoring, asset maintenance and operational efficiency, while working with tenants, telecoms operators and industry partners on network development.
