Potential deals between Indonesia and Cameroon and other Central African countries reached an estimated US$60 million at Trade Expo Indonesia 2026, according to the Indonesian embassy in Yaounde. The expo took place in Tangerang on October 14-18.

The embassy brought 81 delegates from Central Africa to the second Indonesia-Cameroon Business Forum on October 16. Of the 19 agreements reached during the expo, 11 were signed at that forum.

Among the projects, Lampung-based PT Asindo Tech will construct a tapioca and biogas plant costing US$15 million in Diang with Cameroon's Nego Titans. Asindo will also build a US$10 million facility in the Central African Republic and secured a US$8 million river sand mining contract on Cameroon's Sanaga River.

PT Sri Tani Internasional agreed to market Nego Titans' surplus tapioca globally under an annual US$5 million offtake deal. Separately, PT Turrima Agro Mass and TMG Investment agreed on a US$15 million partnership for an organic fertiliser plant in Cameroon.

Shredded fish producer PT Ganiya Bogatama, backed by the Kutai Kartanegara government, secured a supply and technology-transfer agreement worth US$800,000 with Cameroon's Aqua Conv SA.

A separate business-matching session organised by the embassy and South Tangerang's government on October 15 produced six letters of intent valued at more than US$300,000. These covered fisheries in Cameroon, alongside Indonesian spices, processed foods and chemicals.
