Indonesia begins receiving Natuna gas previously sent entirely to Singapore
Upstream oil and gas regulator SKK Migas said some supply now serves Indonesia, but did not disclose the volume.

Some natural gas from the Natuna Block is now reaching Indonesia to meet domestic demand, according to upstream oil and gas regulator SKK Migas. Previously, 100% of that supply went to Singapore.
SKK Migas head Djoko Siswanto described the physical delivery to Indonesia as the first since the country gained independence. His written statement was cited on 28 October 2026, but he did not specify how much gas was being supplied domestically.
Djoko said efforts to bring the gas to Indonesia had faced obstruction for more than 10 years. He credited Minister Bahlil Lahadalia's leadership with overcoming those obstacles.
