Alex Widi Kristiono has received shareholder approval to join the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Board of Commissioners, the exchange said. Its 2026 extraordinary general meeting also confirmed shareholder changes linked to a share buyback, while IDX reported continued preparations for demutualisation.

Kristiono succeeds M. Oki Ramadhana following his resignation and will serve until the end of the board’s 2024–2028 term. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) approved his appointment after the required fit and proper assessment. Nurhaida heads the board as President Commissioner; its commissioners are Yozua Makes, Karman Pamurahardjo, Lany Djuwita and Alex Widi Kristiono.

The meeting combined online and in-person participation. It drew 90 shareholders, representing 100% of those entitled to vote. Shareholders confirmed ownership changes resulting from the buyback, under which PT IMG Sekuritas and PT HSBC Sekuritas Indonesia each transferred one share to IDX.

Several shareholder name changes were also confirmed: PT Universal Broker Indonesia Sekuritas became PT Laba Sekuritas Indonesia; PT UOB Kay Hian Sekuritas became PT Kay Hian Sekuritas; PT Oso Sekuritas Indonesia became PT Sukadana Prima Sekuritas; and PT Jasa Utama Capital became PT Yakin Bertumbuh Sekuritas.

IDX said it was coordinating with OJK and communicating with shareholders on demutualisation preparations to keep each stage compliant with regulations. It linked the work to efforts to strengthen governance and independence under Law No. 4 of 2026, which amends Law No. 4 of 2023 on Financial Sector Development and Strengthening (P2SK Law).
