IAC Infrastructure Sdn Bhd, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Ann Joo Resources Bhd, has signed a RM61.89 million subcontract for infrastructure works serving a large-scale solar plant in Malaysia's northern region.

Ann Joo told Bursa Malaysia that the agreement was signed on Oct 2, 2026, with an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contractor. IAC Infrastructure will handle turnkey design and construction, as well as testing and commissioning, for the project's interconnection facilities and transmission lines.

The photovoltaic plant will have approximately 100 megawatts of alternating-current capacity. Ann Joo said the electricity it generates is intended for delivery to the national grid through Tenaga Nasional Bhd's transmission system.

Completion is expected by the third quarter of 2027, provided no unforeseen circumstances arise. Ann Joo withheld the main contractor's name because of confidentiality obligations, describing it as a Malaysian-incorporated private limited company whose principal activities are electrical and mechanical supplies and services.
