PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk plans to step up purchases under its share buyback programme, which has a ceiling of Rp4 trillion, the company said in a written statement on 20 October 2026.

Shareholders approved the programme at the annual general meeting on 8 June 2026. Its authorised 12-month window runs from 9 June 2026 to 8 June 2027, and more than Rp3 trillion remained available as of 19 October 2026.

Telkom said market conditions, its cash position and requirements for operations and investment would guide the timing and size of purchases. The buyback uses internal cash, with liquidity needs and capital allocation priorities taken into account to preserve financial flexibility.

President director Nanang Hendarno said management's review of the programme reflected its confidence in Telkom's business fundamentals and long-term prospects. He linked the buyback to the group's TLKM 30 transformation strategy, which aims to develop its business potential and increase company value.

Finance and risk management director Angelo said spending decisions would remain aligned with the group's strategic priorities and financial health. Telkom also said it was accelerating portfolio restructuring and efficiency measures as it moves towards a strategic holding structure using a Holding Company-Operating Company (HoldCo-OpCo) model.
