SM+ signs deal to buy PDG’s Indonesian enterprise data centre business
The transaction covers five operating facilities and remains subject to customary closing conditions.

PT SMPlus Digital Investama (SM+) has signed a definitive agreement to buy Princeton Digital Group’s (PDG) enterprise data centre business in Indonesia. Five operating sites across Jabodetabek, Bandung, Surabaya and Pekanbaru are included in the deal, which remains subject to customary closing conditions.
In a statement dated 15 October 2026, SM+ Holdings president director and group CEO Herson Suindah said the transaction would bring the company’s network to 31 facilities across 25 Indonesian cities. He described the purchase as part of its strategy to expand its digital infrastructure platform in Indonesia.
Herson said combining the acquired business with SM+’s existing operations would help improve service quality and support future growth opportunities. He also said the expanded network would strengthen its ability to serve customers.
PDG chief operating officer and co-founder Varoon Raghavan said Indonesia had been a key market for the group since 2019. PDG initially bought the enterprise facilities as part of its market-entry strategy and has since developed a hyperscale data centre portfolio of about 400 MW in the country, he said.
Raghavan said PDG would continue concentrating on its hyperscale portfolio, including the JC2, JC3 and JC4 campuses, with further expansion under way. UBS AG Singapore Branch is acting as SM+’s exclusive financial adviser on the transaction.
