Malaysian users of ShopeePay’s Money+ investment feature can now hold RM30,000, compared with the previous RM20,000 limit, the company announced. The increase carries no extra cost for users.

Alongside the change, ShopeePay has introduced a promotion ending on 30 November 2026. Eligible participants can earn up to 5% per annum, with only their first RM10,000 qualifying for the promotional rate.

The company’s campaign FAQ explains that the rate combines investment earnings from the Eastspring Investments Islamic E-Duit Fund with a ShopeePay-funded annual bonus of 2%. The company provides that bonus independently of how the fund performs.

Participation requires users to finish registering for Money+, activate the feature and retain a balance of at least RM200. Other campaign eligibility conditions also apply. Bonus availability depends on the remaining campaign budget, with priority given to those who qualify first.

Amounts beyond RM10,000 are ineligible for the bonus but may generate fund earnings. The promoted return is not assured because fund performance can fluctuate. Money+ carries investment risk and does not constitute a bank deposit.
