SET and Chulalongkorn sign five-year family business education pact
The partnership aims to develop undergraduate and graduate programmes in Family Business and Family Wealth Management.

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and Chulalongkorn University signed a five-year academic cooperation agreement on September 21, 2026, to support education, research and workforce development for Thai family businesses, SET said.
The partners aim to create internationally recognised programmes for undergraduate and graduate students, with a focus on preparing family business heirs and executives. The agreement also seeks to broaden their links with universities, financial institutions and businesses in Thailand, overseas and across the CLMV region.
SET Chairman Professor Kitipong Urapeepatanapong said the cooperation would cover five areas: developing educational content, producing research and case studies, promoting governance and sustainability, building institutional networks, and exchanging personnel and academic resources. He said Thai family businesses needed preparation for future challenges.
Chulalongkorn University President Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat said Sasin School of Management (SASIN) and the College of Interdisciplinary and Integrative Studies (CUii) would contribute expertise to jointly develop curricula and learning resources. The university also plans to strengthen research on Thai family businesses and incorporate digital learning innovations. The partners aim to establish Thailand as a national and regional centre for family business expertise.
