Prism adds Kuala Lumpur hotel to Palette brand through Berjaya deal
The 81-room property joins Prism's Malaysian portfolio following partnerships with Ahmad Zaki Resources and United Malayan Land.

Prism, OYO's premium hospitality arm, has partnered with Berjaya Group to place ACES Hotel Kuala Lumpur under its Palette brand. The 81-room property has begun operating under the name Palette Near Petaling Street Market.
The hotel occupies a site in Kota Raya Complex on Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock in Kuala Lumpur. Berjaya Group is controlled by Tan Sri Vincent Tan.
The agreement follows two other Malaysian partnerships signed three months earlier. Through its arrangement with Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd (AZRB), Prism will assume responsibility for managing and operating Sunday Residence Inn Cherating on the east coast. Its agreement with United Malayan Land Bhd (UMLand) covers management of Kuala Lumpur's Sunday Hotel Near Petronas Twin Tower, previously called Suasana Suites.
Prism Malaysia country head Abhijeet Singh said the Berjaya partnership would bring Prism's technology, distribution and operational capabilities to the property. He said Malaysia's tourism momentum offered hotel owners and operators opportunities for different forms of collaboration.
Pravir Mishra, group general manager of Berjaya Hotels & Resorts, said combining the group's local hospitality experience with Prism's capabilities could improve the hotel's offering and help it reach additional travellers.
