Prima Tunas Investama has increased its holding in PT Bank Ganesha Tbk (BGTG) to 9.04 per cent after buying shares worth Rp172 billion, according to a disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

The purchases took place on 7–8 September 2026. The shareholder acquired 1.38 billion shares, representing a 5.75 per cent stake, at Rp125 apiece.

Separately, Bank Ganesha commissioner Lisawati said the bank would comply with regulatory requirements following calls from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for banks in the KBMI I core-capital category to move into a higher tier. Speaking at Perbanas Institute on 2 June 2026, she gave no target date for reaching KBMI II and referred questions about implementation plans to the bank’s chief executive.

Bank Ganesha reported core capital of Rp3.64 trillion in its first-quarter 2026 financial statements.

At the annual shareholders’ meeting on 26 May 2026, shareholders appointed Trisna Chandra and Shirley as directors and Faisal Dharma Setiawan as an independent commissioner.

Shareholders also decided not to distribute a dividend for 2026. Of the bank’s Rp227.09 billion net profit for the 2025 financial year, Rp1 billion was allocated to mandatory/general reserves. The remainder was kept as retained earnings to strengthen the bank’s capital.
