LYC faces trading suspension and delisting after sponsor exits
An appeal by October 26 could defer the October 29 delisting, but trading will still be suspended on October 27.

LYC Healthcare Bhd’s securities will be suspended from trading on Bursa Malaysia’s ACE Market from October 27, with delisting scheduled for October 29 unless the company appeals by October 26. The announcement follows UOB Kay Hian (M) Sdn Bhd’s withdrawal as sponsor for its proposed GN3 regularisation plan.
In an exchange filing, LYC said it received UOB Kay Hian’s termination letter on October 19, ending an advisory relationship that began in May 2025. The company has yet to secure another sponsor and said it was taking steps to appoint a replacement as soon as practicable.
LYC’s board said the termination would have no immediate effect on the company’s finances or operations. Management nevertheless acknowledged that it could affect the regularisation plan’s timetable and progress.
Bursa Securities said appeals received after October 26 would not be considered. A timely appeal would postpone delisting until the exchange reaches a final decision, but would not prevent the October 27 trading suspension. LYC said the suspension falls under Rule 8.04(5) of the ACE Market Listing Requirements.
