Krakatau Steel reports merger of two subsidiaries
Krakatau Sarana Infrastruktur is the surviving company under a merger deed dated 12 October 2026.

Indonesia’s state-owned steelmaker PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. (KRAS) has disclosed an affiliated transaction combining two subsidiaries. The company said a merger deed had been signed for PT Krakatau Sarana Infrastruktur (KSI) and PT Krakatau Information Technology (KIT), with KIT merging into KSI.
The deed is dated 12 October 2026. Krakatau Steel said Indonesia’s Minister of Law had been notified of the merger, as recorded in a letter acknowledging the notification.
Krakatau Steel directly owns 99.99 per cent of KSI. It controls KIT through KSI, which holds 100 per cent of KIT’s shares.
In the disclosure cited on 15 October 2026, management said the transaction was consistent with the company’s business strategy. Krakatau Steel said it had no effect on its operations, legal or financial position, or business continuity.
