By June 13, completed housing under Indonesia’s 3 Million Homes programme totalled 324,213 units, the Government Communication Agency (Bakom) reported. The programme is part of the Prabowo Subianto–Gibran Rakabuming Raka administration’s efforts to widen access to decent housing.

Bakom’s Deputy for Partnerships and Media Relations, Kurnia Ramadhana, also reported that 180,600 subsidised homes had been distributed through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) by October 14. This amounted to 51.6 per cent of the target of 350,000 units for 2026, compared with distribution of 278,868 units during 2025.

For home renovations, the Self-Help Housing Stimulus Assistance (BSPS) programme received a 2026 allocation of Rp8.59 trillion, with 400,000 uninhabitable homes targeted. Its 2025 budget was Rp1.02 trillion for a target of 45,073 homes.

As of September 10, the Ministry of Housing and Residential Areas’ physical housing target stood at 414,184 units, including the 400,000 homes covered by BSPS. Ramadhana said renovation work aimed to improve safety and health conditions for low-income residents. He said spending on materials and job creation were also expected to stimulate the local economy.
