The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) said it and MNC Sekuritas jointly opened 23 investment galleries across Indonesia on 27 August, supported by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Museum Rekor Dunia Indonesia (MURI) recognised the simultaneous inauguration with a record.

The new locations include university galleries, education galleries at schools, digital galleries at foundations and Sharia galleries. Among the institutions hosting them are MNC University, Universitas Mulawarman, SMAN 74 Jakarta, Yayasan Gerbang Kolaborasi Nusantara and UIN Kendari.

IDX business development director Iding Pardi said the galleries were intended to widen access to capital market information and education, particularly for young people. IDX reported that its network exceeded 1,000 galleries, with MNC Sekuritas collaborating on 137 of them.

Activities associated with the openings generated 5,938 IDX Mobile subscribers as of 17 August 2026, against an initial target of 5,000, according to IDX. The Sharia gallery at UIN Kendari contributed 1,321 subscribers, followed by Universitas IBA Palembang with 665 and MNC University with 599.

IDX said those three galleries would receive certificates acknowledging their contributions to subscriber growth. The MURI record certificate was awarded to IDX.
