A second hotel under a major hospitality brand, alongside luxury villas and residences, is being considered for Golden TW Realty and Development Corp.’s 23-hectare Boracay site. President and CEO Kevin Wong said the proposed expansion could add about 100 accommodation units across roughly 20 hectares.

Negotiations with a potential hospitality partner are continuing, Wong said. Neither the brand nor a definite building schedule has been disclosed. The proposal favours low-rise accommodation and would retain open areas along a beachfront measuring 600 metres.

Wong outlined a three-phase development that could require around 10 years to complete. Kaban, the hotel and casino marking the first phase, takes up about one hectare. Its formal opening on October 11 followed an initial soft opening on September 16. Golden TW’s investment in Kaban totals around ₱3 billion, funded with equity and Philippine Business Bank loans.

Next is Boracay Central, a shopping complex covering one hectare, with an opening targeted for the first quarter of 2027. Restaurants, cafés and clothing shops are among the planned businesses. The hotel and residences would follow as the third phase once a hospitality partnership is finalised.

Golden TW also intends to add a jetty for a more direct connection from Caticlan. Wong said the broader project would centre on hospitality and entertainment, with gaming occupying a small portion.
