Four SonKim Land projects listed for foreign ownership assessment
The developer said it had fulfilled administrative, reporting and disclosure requirements for the housing projects.

Four SonKim Land housing developments appear on a list that provides a basis for determining whether they qualify for foreign ownership, according to the developer. An official letter dated October 9 identifies the projects.
The developments are Gateway Thao Dien, The Nassim Thao Dien, The Metropole Thu Thiem and The 9 Stellars. The latter includes the Alta Height and Alpha Residence subdivisions. SonKim Land said it had carried out the necessary administrative steps and met its obligations to report to authorities and disclose information.
Vietnam’s 2023 Housing Law permits eligible foreign individuals and organisations to acquire homes by purchase, lease-purchase, inheritance or gift, subject to restrictions. Qualifying homes must be within approved residential developments and outside designated national defence and security zones.
For individual houses, the foreign ownership limit is 250 units in an area with a population equivalent to a ward. Since the law came into effect, eligible foreign individuals and organisations have acquired more than 1,500 residential units, taking their nationwide cumulative total to over 6,000.
