Taiwan-listed FIC Global Inc. (FICG) has formally opened its Johor manufacturing facility through subsidiary PRO3C (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., linking production in Malaysia with a planned Singapore operation. The company said the opening marked the start of full-scale output during 2026’s second half.

Located at i-Park @ Senai Airport City, the factory secured customer qualification in November 2025. Production started as 2025 ended, followed by mass production in 2026’s first quarter. It operates eight SMT lines, with capacity being increased according to orders and market demand, FICG said.

Under the group’s Johor–Singapore Twinning Strategy, the Malaysian site will handle manufacturing, engineering, volume production and deliveries. FICG’s planned Innovation and Supply Chain Centre in Singapore will concentrate on innovation, international sourcing, supply chain management and engagement with overseas customers.

PRO3C is also developing capabilities in optical transceivers, Co-Packaged Optics, Linear Pluggable Optics and Silicon Photonics. The company said these technologies support demand for AI infrastructure and high-speed data transmission.

At July’s ASEAN Conference 2026 in Singapore, PRO3C signed a memorandum of understanding with AME Elite Consortium Berhad, and FICG signed another with JTC Corporation. UOB is supporting the expansion through its regional network and cross-border banking services.

Hiring will proceed in stages as the facility and business develop. FICG said its Malaysian and Singapore operations could eventually support more than 1,000 employees, depending on demand and operational needs.
