Dasco urges Indonesia Stock Exchange to act on MSCI feedback
The parliamentary deputy speaker said OJK and the exchange were already working on improvements ahead of an expected November consultation review.

Indonesian parliamentary deputy speaker Sufmi Dasco Ahmad has urged the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) to address feedback from international index providers, including MSCI. Speaking during a visit to the exchange in Jakarta on 16 October 2026, he said parliament was monitoring efforts to improve the capital market.
Dasco said MSCI had issued what he described as a review early that morning, although its consultation review had been expected in November. According to him, the exchange was already taking steps to respond to matters anticipated in the November review.
He said the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and BEI were carrying out the improvement process. Dasco described the visit as a check on its progress and said parliament would continue overseeing developments at the exchange.
The visit included a coordination meeting with OJK chair Friderica Widyasari Dewi and commissioner Hasan Fawzi, Danantara Indonesia CEO Rosan Roeslani and COO Dony Oskaria. National police chief General Suyudi Ario Seto was also asked to attend, Dasco said, adding that participants would provide explanations within their respective remits.
