CelcomDigi agrees 15-year connectivity contract for Kulim industrial zone
CelcomDigi will manage fibre ducts and offer enterprise connectivity services to incoming manufacturers at the Kedah park's Phase 4A.

Manufacturers moving into Kulim Hi-Tech Park's Industrial Zone Phase 4A (IZP 4A) are to receive fibre connectivity under a 15-year agreement signed by CelcomDigi Bhd and Kulim Technology Park Corporation Sdn Bhd (KTPC).
The contract assigns management of the zone's fibre ducts to CelcomDigi. Its services for new tenants will include Managed Fibre, IPVPN, Private Leased Lines (PLL), Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) and Managed Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), with the aim of meeting connectivity requirements as the zone develops.
KTPC group chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Sahil Zabidi said the arrangement would equip the zone with fibre infrastructure needed by manufacturers and support the park's development over the longer term. T Kugan, CelcomDigi's chief enterprise business officer, said the company's involvement was intended to give businesses the digital foundations needed for growth.
The Kedah park dates to 1996. KTPC reported that cumulative investment there had reached RM189.4 billion by the second quarter of 2026, with employment standing at 48,813 people.
