Abu Dhabi-based investment company BlueFive Capital has announced a strategic investment in Indonesia's Majoris Asset Management through its sharia-based platform, BlueFive786. The transaction value and proposed rebranding of Majoris remain subject to approval from Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK).

BlueFive is using the partnership to enter Southeast Asia. Majoris provides access to Indonesia through more than 700,000 retail customers and 50 institutional clients, focusing on money-market and fixed-income products. The partnership also gives Majoris broader access to international investors and global investment products.

Majoris president director San Verandy Herveranto said the partnership would strengthen its ability to serve domestic investors and build international investment connections. He said it was also expected to broaden Indonesian investors' access to sharia investment products. Strong governance and risk management were needed to preserve investor confidence, he added.

BlueFive founder and CEO Hazem Ben-Gacem described Indonesia as a strategic market, citing its economic scale, large domestic investor base and demand for products combining financial objectives with sharia principles. BlueFive said sharia-compliant products represented only 10 per cent of the asset-management market, leaving room for professionally managed offerings.

In early October 2025, BlueFive also formed a strategic alliance with Sriwijaya Capital, the private-equity company founded by Arsjad Rasjid, to strengthen capital flows between the Gulf and Southeast Asia.
