Bank Syariah Indonesia to seek shareholder approval for rights issue
The bank has scheduled an extraordinary general meeting for 6 November 2026 to consider a capital increase through new shares.

PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRIS) plans to put a proposed rights issue to shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting on 6 November 2026. According to its disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the meeting will begin at 10.00 WIB.
Approval for the capital increase, known as PMHMETD II, is the meeting’s sole agenda item. The bank said issuing new shares would increase its paid-up capital, strengthen its capital base and expand its financing capacity to support business growth. The proposal cannot proceed without shareholder approval.
The meeting will be conducted electronically from Central Jakarta using eASY.KSEI, the electronic general meeting system provided by PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI). Physical attendance will be limited according to room capacity, under Article 24(5) of the electronic shareholder meeting regulation.
Eligibility to attend is based on the shareholder register and/or securities account holdings in KSEI’s collective custody as at 16.15 WIB on 14 October 2026.
