Qudotech Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned unit of AWC Bhd, has signed a RM39.70 million subcontract with Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd for work on a hyperscale data centre in Negeri Sembilan, AWC said in a Bursa Malaysia filing.

The project is located in Bandar Spring Hill, Port Dickson. Qudotech’s scope includes building and completing systems for cold water, rainwater harvesting, water reticulation and fire hydrants, as well as sanitary services.

The agreement sets August 14, 2026 as the commencement date and October 22, 2027 as the scheduled completion date. Extensions or other timing adjustments are allowed under its terms.

AWC expects the subcontract to make a positive contribution to the group’s future earnings and net assets over the course of the work.
