Aldo Henry Artoko and Arya Pradana Setiadharma bought a combined 549,000 shares in Indonesia’s PT Arkora Hydro (ARKO) for Rp1.2 billion, according to a disclosure filed with the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Following the transactions, Aldo’s holding stood at 0.19 per cent and Arya’s at 0.07 per cent.

The renewable energy company had previously completed the acquisition of a 99.9 per cent stake in PT Endorshine Energy Solutions, which owns and operates solar power plants in Batam and Bintan in the Riau Islands.

A letter from Indonesia’s Minister of Law, received by Arkora on 24 August 2026, confirmed that Endorshine was operating under PT Arkora Tenaga Matahari. Arkora established that subsidiary as its acquisition vehicle to expand into solar energy.

In a statement on 26 August 2026, Arkora president director Aldo Artoko said the shares were purchased from Yang Solar Solutions Pte Ltd and all conditions precedent had been met. The acquisition gave Arkora its first solar projects: two operating plants with a stated combined capacity of 21.3 MWp, comprising 10.27 MWp in Bintan and 11.05 MWp in Batam.
