AICAP announces robotics partnership in Vietnam
The collaboration aims to link Vietnamese demand with overseas robot suppliers and strengthen local deployment capabilities.

AICAP Group Joint Stock Company announced a strategic robotics partnership at GRECO 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together the China Robotics Industry Development Alliance (CDRA), AIBRAIN Company and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH).
The partners aim to match demand in Vietnam with international suppliers and improve domestic capabilities to deploy robots. AICAP, CDRA and HUTECH also announced cooperation linking university research and teaching with industrial uses of robotics.
AICAP chairman Do Thanh Son said Vietnamese engineers’ software and control-algorithm skills could help local businesses take a greater role in the robotics value chain.
HUTECH vice rector Nguyen Thanh Phuong said the automation sector needed workers who could identify practical problems, develop solutions and integrate robotic systems. He called for closer business-university cooperation, with companies sharing experience and giving students opportunities to work on practical applications.
Ken Research estimated Vietnam’s industrial robotics market at US$112 million in 2025. The consultancy forecasts compound annual growth of 12.88 per cent between 2026 and 2031, with the market reaching about US$231.7 million by 2031.
GRECO 2026 took place on Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street as part of activities surrounding the Autumn Economic Forum 2026. Visitors watched robots dance, play chess, prepare coffee and interact with the public, while businesses and education institutions discussed potential cooperation.
