Affin Diventium has received the Outstanding Private Bank Asia Pacific award, with parent Affin Group reporting that its private banking assets under management reached RM2.2 billion in June 2026. That represented growth of 38 per cent from RM1.6 billion a year earlier.

The honour, presented at the Private Banker International Global Wealth Awards 2026, follows the arm’s launch two years earlier. Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah, Affin Group president and group chief executive officer, said it gave the group confidence in the private banking operation it was developing.

The business offers wealth management to entrepreneurs, business owners and multi-generational families, tailoring strategies around clients’ finances, business interests and family requirements.

Affin extended its relationship with Indonesia’s PT Bank Central Asia Tbk in August 2026 to explore additional customer services across both markets. A separate partnership with Marriott Bonvoy provides hospitality benefits for selected new private banking clients.

The group said developing private banking forms part of its AX28 Plan, which identifies customer service, digital leadership and responsible banking as priorities.
