Veldo Launches Mac App That Combines App Store Rank, Apple Ads Spend and Revenue Data for iOS Developers

Sep 20, 2026

Utrecht, Netherlands, September 20, 2026 /MarketersMEDIA/ -- Veldo, a native macOS application for independent iOS developers, is now publicly available. The software consolidates organic App Store keyword rankings, Apple Search Ads expenditure, and RevenueCat subscription revenue into a single interface, then provides recommendations for each tracked keyword.

The application addresses a workflow challenge faced by developers who manage paid search campaigns: determining which keywords justify advertising spend when data is scattered across App Store Connect, Apple Ads dashboards, and revenue analytics platforms. Veldo presents rank position, advertising cost, and attributed revenue on the same row, then assigns one of four verdicts to each keyword – double down, bid opportunity, cannibalizing, or money pit – with supporting data visible beneath each recommendation.

"Rank without spend is a vanity chart. Spend without revenue is a money pit. I built Veldo because I was tired of hopping between App Store Connect, Apple Ads, and RevenueCat to answer one question: which keywords actually deserve the budget," said Willem van Zoeren, founder of Veldo.

The software operates as a local-first application, storing acquisition data on the user's Mac rather than transmitting it to a remote server. Veldo supports unlimited applications and keywords across more than 60 App Store storefronts. RevenueCat integration is optional; developers can use the application with App Store Connect and Apple Ads data alone.

The verdict system flags four scenarios. "Double down" identifies keywords with positive return on ad spend and improving organic rank. "Bid opportunity" highlights terms with strong search demand but weak organic visibility and no active exact-match campaign. "Cannibalizing" marks keywords where the developer already ranks highly organically, suggesting paid ads may be purchasing installs that would have occurred without advertising. "Money pit" designates keywords that consume budget without generating attributed revenue.

Veldo also includes tools for editing App Store metadata, checking character limits and keyword coverage, and publishing changes directly to App Store Connect. The application is available as a standard Mac app, menu bar utility, and command-line interface. A Model Context Protocol server allows integration with development tools.
