New York City, New York Aug 1, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - In practice since 1986, Dr. Feinman is a board-certified, fellowship-trained obstetrician-gynecologist, reproductive endocrinologist, and infertility specialist with HRC Fertility in California. He sees patients at the offices in Encino, Westlake Village, and West Los Angeles, continuing to successfully help patients with failed cycles at other centers become pregnant at HRC.

The doctor's areas of interest include third-party parenting with local and international patients, minimal-stimulation and natural cycle IVF for poor prognosis patients, and strategies for minimizing multiple pregnancies.  He also has a longstanding interest in implantation failure.  Working in cooperation with the Franklin Institute of Chicago, Dr. Feinman oversees a program at HRC to evaluate and treat couples with repeat IVF failures and recurrent pregnancy loss.

Active in well-known professional organizations, he is a member of the Association of Private Assisted Reproductive Technology, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, as well as the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists. Additionally, he is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, which is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States Canada.

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Feinman earned his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine in 1980. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Sloane Hospital for Women, Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital of New York in 1984, followed by his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology & infertility at the University of Pennsylvania in 1986.

From there, he went on to help establish the IVF program at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. His team performed the first vaginal ultrasound-guided egg retrieval in New York and created one of the first successful anonymous egg donor programs in the world.

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system - vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts). An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health.

Reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) is a surgical subspecialty of obstetrics and gynecology that trains physicians in reproductive medicine addressing hormonal functioning as it pertains to reproduction, as well as the issue of infertility. While most REI specialists primarily focus on the treatment of infertility, reproductive endocrinologists are trained to also evaluate and treat hormonal dysfunctions in females and males outside infertility.
