Quality Water Treatment, Inc offers a new informational website chart which describes the features and benefits of the SoftPro Elite water softening product.
Box Elder SD - May 30, 2019 / / —
Quality Water Treatment, Inc and Craig Phillips offer the latest information on the SoftPro Elite water softener equipment and process. The chart describes some of the high-performance features, including reverse flow regeneration with precision brining. Traditional downflow softeners deplete the unused portion of the resin bed with every regeneration. Reverse Flow Regen drives the hardness minerals up through the already depleted resin and out to drain, saving both salt and the unused portion of the resin for future use.
Precision brining saves additional salt by pre-making only 70 percent of the brine. Just before regeneration, the computer calculates the precise amount of brine top-up needed to regenerate only the depleted resin, saving up to 30 percent more salt. The municipal backwash cycle pre-set reduces backwash frequency for clean water supplies, saving up to an estimated 2000 gallons of fresh water annually.

The sanitary system flush removes stagnant water after seven days of non-use, to prevent the growth of bacteria. Soft Water Quick Charge Mode ensures soft water during unusually heavy water usage. The Soft Water Brine Tank refill feature keeps tank and injectors clean. The ultimate salt and water savings annually amounts to 75 percent less salt and 64 percent less water. The system is good for the customer and good for the environment.
